How can purchase a gift card?

There are three ways to acquire a Melting Pot gift card:

  1. You can order a physical gift card online and have it shipped to either yourself or another recipient.
  2. You can order an e-gift card online and have it emailed to either yourself or another recipient.
  3. You can purchase a physical gift card at any of our Melting Pot locations.

Can I use my gift card to purchase products online?

No. Melting Pot gift cards currently can only be used for food and beverage purchases in a Melting Pot restaurant.

Where can I use my gift card?

Melting Pot gift cards can be used at any Melting Pot restaurant in the U.S.

How long does it take to receive an e-gift card?

Melting Pot e-gift cards are delivered by email within a few minutes of completing the order.

If you or the recipient have not received it quickly, please make sure to check your spam/junk folder.

If you still cannot locate your e-gift card, please contact support.

Why is the gift card promotion I saw elsewhere not available on this online store?

Please consider the following regarding gift card promotions:

  • Currently, all valid gift card promotions are only offered by in-store purchase.
  • Melting Pot does not offer discounts on gift cards. If you saw an advertisement stating so, it was likely from a third party platform that is not affiliated with Melting Pot.
  • Gift cards may sometimes be included as part of a bundle on this online store.

Do gift cards expire?

No, Melting Pot gift cards do not have an expiration date.

Fondue at Home Bundles

How does a fondue bundle ship?

Our Fondue at Home bundles ship through our partner Omaha Steaks in a cooler packed with dry ice.

All bundles arrive 5-8 business days from the date your order was placed.

Once delivered, your order can thawed and eat or stored in a freezer.

Where can I find cooking instructions?

Directions are located on the back of the package. Additional tutorials can be found on our How To Videos.

Can the cheese fondue burn?

Yes, cheese fondue can burn depending on preparation method used and how hot the burner is. Please refer to the cooking instructions located on the back of the package. Additional tutorials can be found on our How To Videos.

What can I add to my cheese fondue to enhance the flavor further?

What do I serve with my fondue?

Items you dip into the fondue are called dippers. Here’s a list of perfect dippers for your fondue meal at home:

Bread: Sourdough, French and pretzel bread. Cut into cubes.

Protein: Cooked and cubed into bite size pieces: Steak, Chicken. Cooked sausage sliced. Cooked Shrimp.

Fruit: Red and Green Apples & Pears cubed.

Veggies: Raw Broccoli, tomato, mushrooms, carrots. Small potatoes cooked.

Is the fondue gluten free?

The fondue does not contain any gluten.

I don’t have a fondue pot. How can I keep the cheese warm?

To keep your fondue warm, transfer your saucepan in one of the following ways:

  • To a fondue stand with a heat element or a standalone tabletop burner
  • To a crockpot on the low setting
  • To a microwave-safe bowl, places into a pan filled with hot water.

Note: You can also reheat your fondue in a microwave-safe dish to keep it warm as you enjoy.

What ingredients are in the Classic Alpine Fondue?

The Classic Alpine Fondue is a creamy blend of Gruyere, Raclette and Fontina cheeses, water, white wine, and potato starch.

What ingredients are in the Aged Cheddar & Gouda Fondue?

The Aged Cheddar & Gouda Fondue is a creamy blend of cheddar and gouda cheeses, water, white wine, and potato starch.

Is the wine in the fondue safe for kids to eat?

Yes, the alcohol is burned off while warming up the fondue.

Why does the fondue look sticky/wet/clumpy?

The fondue is prepared fresh with the water and wine inclusion which makes the fondue mixture stick together and wet.

Why is this fondue called “fresh"?

It is called fresh because it uses fresh cheese as opposed to processed cheese, no preservatives or emulsifies.

How to store the cheese and seasoning?

Cheese can be stored frozen or refrigerated. Unopened product in the refrigerator please use within 2 months. Opened product in the refrigerator please use within 3 days. Lasts for 1 year freezer.

Store seasoning at room temperature, good for 2 years.

If the cheese arrives thawed or partly thawed, can it be refrozen?

No, the cheese fondue cannot be re-frozen. Place unopened product in the refrigerator, please use within 2 months. Opened product in the refrigerator please use within 3 days.

My cheese fondue burned, can I get a refund or replacement?

We guarantee our product 100%, please contact support for a refund or replacement.
